Breanne is a compassionate registered nurse with a relentless eye for detail. Her healthcare journey began long before she graduated UoFA/MacEwan university in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. With over 14 years experience in the medical field spanning across Pediatric clinics and Neonatal Intensive care units. She found reward in forming trusting, therapeutic relationships, and making a positive impact on the little humans and their families.

Breanne’s passion for health and wellness has brought her on to develop the Essence team along with her business partner Lara, where she hopes to bring compassion and professionalism to the ever expanding world of aesthetic medicine. She undertook training at the renowned Pacific Training Institute of Facial Aesthetics and is continually adding to her certifications. She is dedicated to blending the art of aesthetics and the science in nursing to empower individuals to rediscover self love, and feel confident in their own skin. Her goal is to always ensure a comfortable, safe and positive experience for her clients. Breanne is ecstatic to meet you and work with you to achieve your unique aesthetic goals!

Lara is a Family Physician who moved from her beautiful home country of South Africa to Canada in 2013 and has called Red Deer home since 2020. She loves helping women towards feeling like their best selves and she is passionate about integrating this one aspect of the world of holistic self care: giving yourself the permission to take care of yourself and be radiant.

This intersection of taking care of your inner and outer wellbeing from a place of high self worth is something that she loves to explore and hopes that you will find benefit in what Essence has to offer. With over 15 years of clinical practice experience across South Africa and Canada, she has also come to see the immense therapeutic benefits that injectables have which can be life-changing for many people. After undertaking her own journey of self love and self care, she discovered that this passion was shared by her friend Bre. This led to her undertaking injectable training at the world-renowned PTIFA institute and creating a new business and partnership with her co-founder. Lara is excited about practicing this component of her clinical practice and looks forward to getting to know you better!
